We are hoping to determine the reasons students stay in the Midwifery Education Program (MEP) and learn more about your experiences in the classroom and placement. We are also interested in your views on provincial policies and practices that may affect your experiences.

To learn more about the survey and the researchers’ study, particularly in terms of any associated risks or harms associated with the survey, how confidentiality and anonymity will be handled, withdrawal procedures, incentives that are promised and how to obtain information about the survey’s results please read the accompanying letter of information attached to the email you received or you can find it here.

This survey should take approximately 15-25 minutes to complete depending on your responses.  You must be a midwifery student to fill out this survey.

As this is a pan-Canadian study, it has been approved by the relevant research ethics boards across different provinces. These research ethics boards are responsible for ensuring that participants are informed of the risks associated with the research, and that participants are free to decide if participation is right for them.  If you have any questions about your rights as a participant, please call the Office of the Chair, Hamilton Integrated Research Ethics Board (HIREB) at 905-521-2100 ext. 42013 (Reference Project # 1737).
