Recruitment Survey: Focus Groups with Ontario Midwives Who Have Left the Profession

Thank you for your interest in our study!

We know one in three midwives considers leaving the profession, but little is known about the factors that turn intention into action. We value your insights regarding what your experiences were like, in the hopes of making Ontario midwifery more sustainable in the future. Whether you're certain you're not returning to practice, or you're still on the fence - we want to hear from you!!

Phase I of our study includes a series of focus groups with a small number of inactive/resigned/retired midwives to help us learn more. This study has been reviewed by the Hamilton Integrated Research Ethics Board under project #16939.
