Preamble Statement
This survey is administered by Rachel Simon and Dr. David I Shore of McMaster University. The purpose of the survey is to. Information gathered during this survey will be written up as a dissertation and possibly a scholarly article. What we learn from this survey will help us understand more about how psychedelics and raving interact and impact attendees, allowing researchers and practitioners to better understand the implications of psychedelic use. These results may also be able to inform harm reduction at future EDM events and other large-scale events at which many attendees consume psychedelics.
To learn more about the survey and the researcher’s study, particularly in terms of any associated risks or harms associated with the survey, how confidentiality and anonymity will be handled, withdrawal procedures, incentives that are promised, how to obtain information about the survey’s results, how to find helpful resources should the survey make you uncomfortable or upset etc., please read the accompanying
letter of information.
This survey should take approximately 15 minutes long to complete. People filling out this survey must be 18 years or older and not currently under the influence of any substances.
This survey is part of a study that has been reviewed and cleared by the
