2025 Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization Undergraduate Application

Instructions:

  1. It is the sole responsibility of the applicant to ensure that the application is accurately completed and submitted by February 1, 2025 at 11:59pm. (the program will completely close at 11:59, so please do not start your application February 1st at 11:50pm.)

    • External students and McMaster second degree students are also required to complete an OUAC or returning student online application by the February 1st deadline.

  2. Please be sure to complete all answers in the application in one sitting. There is no feature that will let you save your survey. 

  3. To avoid triggering an error in the survey, please do not copy and paste answers (UNLESS in plain, unformatted text e.g. from Microsoft Notepad) into the text box. Should you find an error while submitting your survey, please start a new survey and type your responses into the text box. *You might also want to decrease your written response to 146 words and see if your error message goes away. The survey will take you to the part in your application that has the error in it. Please DO NOT have paragraph breaks in your responses.

  4. In order to avoid having a “Session Expired” message appear (due to idling), do not start the application until you are ready to fill in the information.
  5. You can scroll up and down on your computer screen to access all questions or to modify any answers at anytime during the session. 
  6. When you are ready to submit, press the “Submit” button located on the bottom right-hand corner of the page.  A new page will appear with the message "Thank you!  Your BDC application has been successfully submitted". 
  7. This page serves as a confirmation of your submission and no further action is required.
  8. Once you submit your application you will no longer be able to access it.  Please be sure your application is complete before submitting.
  9. Any application that has not been submitted (via pressing the "Submit" button) will be discarded.
  10. Any information that is falsified on this application will automatically discredit your application.
