The purpose of the study is to understand the perceptions of students taking an introductory level Astronomy course. Information gathered during this study will be written up as a scientific journal article and will be used to inform course design in the future. People participating in this study must be undergraduate students enrolled in Astronomy 1F03 at McMaster University in the Winter 2023 academic term. People participating in this study must be undergraduate students at McMaster University for the Winter 2023 academic term.
The survey is completely anonymous, although we will ask you to generate your own “confidential ID code” so that we can match your survey data to any future Physics studies that you may participate in. All of your responses will remain confidential, and you will never be personally linked to your answers in any way. You can withdraw from this survey at any time before clicking on the “submit” button, simply by clicking on the "Exit and Clear Survey" button in the upper righthand corner of the survey screen. Please read the Letter of Information posted on your course page on Avenue to Learn for more details.
