Interpretation of treatment effect estimates with wide confidence intervals

We would like to request your participation in completing a questionnaire regarding the interpretation of treatment effect estimates from systematic reviews with wide confidence intervals.

We are interested in understanding how health professionals interpret these treatment effects and the conclusions they derive when they encounter such results in using evidence to inform their clinical practice.

In each question, we provide a summary effect estimate from a hypothetical systematic review and meta-analysis, and ask you to please choose the answer that you think is most accurate or reflects the best interpretation of the study results.

By completing this survey, we assume you provide informed consent to participate in this study. No further assessments or follow-ups are involved with participation in this survey, and all responses are kept anonymous.
